How can I report a person, not an answer?

There is a person in a specific area of answers who consistently give a thumbs down to every answer that comes before hers. The answers are generally good, but you can easily see the pattern. There's no reason for any of these people to receive the thumbs down, but this girl consistently gives them this distinction. So, how can I report this person? Technically her specific answer is not a rant, or anything reportable in itself but it's her actions as someone who participates here that I think should be reprimanded. I messaged her privately but she ignored me. I just think it's rude. Any ideas?

Update:

I know that in it of itsef, a thumbs down is not against the rules. What I am asking is about a person's overall conduct in doing this repeatedly not to give a real opinion on the answer, but just to give a thumbs down to be rude. It's very obvious when you go to answer a question that every answer before this one particular person is always thumbed down whether or not is good or accurate. I am not reporting this persons answers because its not the answers I have a problem with. It the conduct. It's not an opinion that these answers are not bad if I know them to be good and accurate and also this same person will often mimic the same information in her own answers. I really like the person who said it should be done away with altogether. Why not keep things positive. Give things a thumbs up if you agree, but say nothing if you don't?

Ignore & Move On. Thumbs down upsets so many users that it should be abolished.

Thumbs down isn't against the rules, that's why it's there. Thumbs down don't take away or add points it's just a matter of opinion. Maybe there's a legitimate reason for the thumbs down. The answer could've been wrong or stupid to someone else.

    hello,

You do reports on someone who has violated the community guidelines and or not following the terms of service. I have read both of these and there is nothing that says dont do thumbs down.

However in the community guidelines it says if you see a good answer star it or thumbs up

if you any abuse report it. Giving thumbs down or up is the rating system and a priviledge

Source(s): http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_guidelines... There is a part that says for good give a star and or thumbs up but for bad like abuse report it.

I don't think that giving a "Thumbs Down" is against the Terms of Service. Regardless of the reasoning.

People give "Thumbs Down" for all kinds of petty reasons. If you start reporting people because you dislike the reason, EVERYONE would start getting violations

ADD: Definition of Irony; In defending someone who is giving a "Thumbs Down", I get one myself

ADD#2: You acknowledge that giving a "Thumbs Down" is not against the rules, yet you still want to find a way to report this person simpley because you don't agree with their conduct. That is not much better than Ms. "Thumbs Down" there. Just because you dislike how they are doing things, does not raise the issue to reporting someone.

You are allowed to give a "Thumbs Down" even if the only reason that you dislike the answer is that it came before yours (people have given "Thumbs Down" for less. Trying to report the person is petty in and of itself, since the "Thumbs Down" does not actually mean anything (I just got one myself), but the violation can cost someone their account.

,I receive a lot of thumbs down too, how can I know a certain person who does that? I don't believe she can thumbs me down 3 times. I don't intend to reprimand her, I am just curious, she has the right to agree or disagree of my answers. My answers are good to others, and bad to others,I don't expect any approvals, but I hope people and I, learn from my answers.

You can't report he for that, besides it is worth it.

Only care about the thumbs up as for each one on a best answer you get an additional point. (max 50 per Q).

If their answer is not in violation, or question then there's no reason for you to report.

Thumbs down doesn't mean anything of importance. No points lost or gained for either party.

I don't think there's really anything you can do about it. It doesn't really matter anyway, just ignore it (or try to).
