who else thinks MTV should play more MUSIC?
i HATE mtv now. all it is, is rap music and scripted reality shows. its called 'MUSIC TELIVISION'. they should play more music. and the little music that they play isnt even good music! its all rap and hip hop. they should either play more videos or change the name to 'crappy reality tv'.
is anyone else getting sick of MTV?

I am tired of it too!!! Every night, I sit there watching it, waiting for a good music video to come on, and that is a waste of my time! Mtv needs more music!!!

I liked it when it first started, and they put an effort into appealing to ALL the viewers, and not just the rap/hip-hop fans.
I haven't watched it in years because every time I turn it on, it's the same thing.

I don't watch it.
I watch Fuse, home of the Fuse Fangoria Chainsaw Awards.
They play everything.
From Rock to Rap and everything in between.

I know! I HATE MTV. Fuse is OK, but it doesn't play music 24/7 either nessasarily.

they never play any of the music i like anymore..
i saw screw mtv, **** rap and hiphop. lets make our own channel where there will only be music like scremo, my chemical romance, linkin park, madina lake, meg and dia.. stuff like that. and lots more. =]]

yup! I don't even watch it anymore! MuchMusic is MuchBetter! ;) they play music or something music-related most of the time. It's not music ALL the time, but more than MTV

MTV sucks.......they play about 10 hours of music a week
but i don't put all the blame on them.........they just play what people want to see.........its all about ratings

i do not agree..... i mean you cant judge all rap people and videos the same because there are some rappers out there not many i know but SOME who are trying to change that image of rappers by not having videos that degrade women but have them there to add to the beauty of their music videos. you shud not jump to comclusions because u have made the same mistake as many others who jumped to conclusions about that because the best known or older rappers do degrade women but NOT ALL OF THEM DO THAT
