who do you call when neighbors are screaming and partying loud at 3 am?

on a non emergency telephone line you call your local police station they might ask if you are willing to sign a complaint you let them know you are willing it seems rather pointless to ask law enforcement to come out and put themselves at risk and refuse to back them up most people when confronted with the fact of having an officer at there door quiet down immediately and you don't have to sign a complaint my city has policy that excessive noise is not tolerated at any hour and they fine you for disturbing the peace make the call and get some sleep it will be bettar in the morning

My neighbours are smart, if they want to have a late night blow up party they make sure to call all the nearby folk just so as to avoid such situation! However, if the situation was as you say... then I would first go to them and tell them that they are crossing the line of decency and to pipe down! If they listen then well and good, if not I would phone the local cops and make a formal complaint!!!

Have you tried talking to them?? if that doesn't work call the police (short term solution only ) you need to contact the council and get a ' noise pollution officer ' to visit with the police if necessary, or you could blast your music as long as can early so they get no sleep!!! LOL

The police. The are violating the law if its 3 am. A good fine should shut them up for a while.

The police or building management if you live in an apt. Or, if you're brave enough, march on over to their house or apt. and tell them to keep it the hell down b/c everyone else is trying to sleep!

Of course definitely not the Ghost buster. Just dial your local police station and tell them your problem.
