    There's a fair bit of screaming on a couple Led Zeppelin tracks

    I don't know about bands, but James Brown, Tina Turner and quite a few soul and R&B vocalists screamed early on.

    It's another way that shows that the Rock and R&B genres are heavily influenced by each other.

    Buddy Holly & The Crickets.

    Lone Rider probably only knows the Holly hit records...Holly screamed quite a few times on the B-sides.

    The Beatles certainly did early on. I dont recall Buddy Holly ever screaming.
