Kobe Bryant...?

We all make mistakes. Some we can recover from and some we can't. Which mistake that Kobe Bryant has made that you feel he can never recover from?

I feel most of you will say the alleged rape, but I'm looking for things from a basketball standpoint. Let's keep it to things on the court. No MJ/Bryant comparisons please.

i think when shaq was with the lakers, he made everyone think that kobe wouldn't pass the pass, that kobe was selfish. it is true, i mean if you watch kobe 5-6 yrs ago, he wasn't passing the ball at all. he was taking every shot. I think people still believe that even though he's passing the ball a lot more and has more assists, he still is the old kobe.they remember him as SELFISH but they don't realize that he has changed and he's not as selfish as he used to be.

    I agree with this person

    AND TO ADD

The lakers roster isnt the same as the 3peat shaq-kobe era lakers....

Its nothing but rookies with very low talent... some of them have potential... but kobe bryant the best player in the league can pass the ball totally open lakers... they will have an open shot with lots of time to take the shot and they will still miss......

Looking at that teams ownership and the moves they have made when they took control have really destroyed this team..... hopefully in the long run it pays off like they are hoping but as it looks right now doesnt look like were gona see a championship in a long time....

Time to start cheering for the clippers.....

Knowing the pride and competitive drive that he has. Kobe's worst mistake was letting his ego go beyond his head. By letting off esteem against the owner (Mr. Buss) in demand for a trade, Instead of just asking for a trade and just keep personal differences away from public Media, and the worse was dissing his teammates particularly Andrew Bynum. Beside all of these, he is still in the team and I just can't imagine how he can recover from that. Plus this latest announcement that the Lakers management has offered other teams to trade him. I know it would be in his favor but hey,"That sucks!"

He did have a me-first attitude, but we need to understand that he was very young and was still in the process of learning the fundamentals of the game. Kobe of today is different from Kobe of 7-8 years ago. He has matured, and thats why his assists went up. he is averaging almost 5 apg, which means he IS passing the ball.

He is the best basketball player on this planet right now. Even Coach K has said that.

Phil Jackson said that Kobe is the best player he has ever coached.

who would disagree with what Coach K and Phil Jackson have to say when it comes to basketball?

Well I am maybe the biggest Kobe fan, but Kobe really needs to be a better teammate and stop ripping on his teammate publicly like he did to Andrew Bynum..

If Kobe did this more people would have respect for him..

I think he would do a lot more if he was closer to his teammates..

Lets see mistakes he has recovered from

    1. getting caught in colorado

    2. bad mouthing the general manager

    3. bad mouthing the owner

    4. bad mouthing bynum

    5. bad mouthing smush

    6. bad mouthing malone

    7. bad mouthing the lakers

    8. giving conflicting interview about wanting a trade

    9. faking injuries not to play in preseason.

Only one mistake he has not recovered from

    10. getting shaq traded

because shaq won the 3 titles, and with out shaq
