How can I fix my broken car horn? 2005 honda civic?
I hit another car with the left-front of my car, and now the horn doesn't work. It's not the fuse. I'm pretty sure it's the horn itself. I have a 2005 Honda Civic. My biggest problem is, I don't know how to GET to the horn itself.

Nothing goes wrong with the horn itself. With the impact, I am sure, one of the cables has been disconnected. If you find the horn, just reconnect it, I hope it will work alright. Dont go for relay, it is just a stupid idea some body gave above to change relay after the impact.

The horn should be under the hood, on the driver's side, mounted on either the inner fender or the firewall.

check the relay before you replace that horn, your honda dealer should be able to show you where that horn is.

Assuming the device is finished and bled extraordinary then the subsequent component to examine is the cooling fan. it relatively is electrical powered and may be on whilst the temperature is over favourite. Run it and watch to confirm if it cuts on. there is one greater fan which in basic terms runs whilst the A/C is on. examine the two. they may be no longer working however the radiator might desire to be getting cooled by utilising the air flowing for the time of it whilst at highway velocity. yet another component might desire to be the thermostat itself. it would desire to be in basic terms beginning area of ways yet facilitates sufficient water to bypass whilst at larger RPMs. when you consider which you mentioned "now and lower back" it is extremely probable the perpetrator when you consider that i'm guessing that many times it relatively works favourite.
