Can Stress Cause an Early Period - Even on the Pill?
I've been on this particular brand of pill for about 8 months with no weird side effects. My period has been completely predictable (down to the hour) and it's been wonderful - but today I noticed a little pink and I'm having cramps... More than 2 weeks before I'm scheduled to start.
I know that stress can cause a LATE period, but can it cause an early one? Especially when I'm on the pill? I've been SEVERELY stressed out at work lately (we're talking having breakdowns and crying every other day kind of stressed)... could this be the issue?

Yes, the day of my grandfathers funeral i started my period, 2 weeks early as well. I would say that you also could be spotting since it's light and pink with mild cramping from implantation due to a pregnancy(you are ovulating 2 weeks from your last period), but since your on a pill and have been 8 months, if you've taken it religiously it shouldn't be that. But, i do know from personal experience, and from talking to friends,etc. stress can bring on early bleeding!
