Ring Dent???
How do you get rid of the ring dent on your finger?
It was on my finger for 15 years and yes it was my wedding ring.
I don't want to feel like I have been branded by it- or seem to obvious to others that I have taken it off.

Hi. It will eventually go away. I don't wear my rings anymore, but it took a while for the dent to go away. As you said, it was on for 15 years! You will just have to deal with the dent for a while, or wear another ring!

If the ring is so tight that you get a dent in your finger and it doesn't go away after a couple minutes then your ring is too small.
Edit: If you continue to wear it then I'd suggest getting it resized. It doesn't take long to resize wedding bands. Sometimes if you rub your hands or lotion on your hands, it can make the dents go back to normal faster just because you're working the skin and it takes its shape faster.

If it's leaving a permanet dent that means your wore your ring too small and your flesh has grown around it.
You can wait and hope....or loose weight so your finger is the same size as when you first put the ring on.

It may go away over time but as others have said the ring was likely too tight and nothing is going to get rid of it on it's on.
