I am a recent immigrant in the US from another country. I would like to get a haircut..but I do not know what to tell the barber..I mean...what should I tell him/her when he/she asks me what kind of a haircut I want..I do not want anything fancy..just a simple haircut..Can anyone tell me what I should say to the barber?

just tell them you want a little trimed off or just a trim

you could bring in a picture of what you want from a magazine or something.
