Any of you rugby fans in London watching the NY Giants vs Miami Dolphins american football game?

just curious if any of you are watching! the NFL has been playing games internationally... with our own players in other countries. Its a weird concept, but i guess its meant as a way to intoduce american football internationally. this year the game is in Wembley stadium in London. Last year they played in Mexico. what are your thoughts? Will this sort of exhibition match help the world see american football more positively?

Update:

i was hoping to spur more conversation- guess everyone is not that interested! there have been some pretty negative comments about american football- what people have to understadn is that its a totally different sport- coming from our totally different culture. our american men, in partcular, need massive amounts of stimulation to keep thhier interest in very slow sport... did anyone notice all the sound/ visual effects during the broadcast. i can barely stand it when its on surround sound and loud!! I did some counting and during the 2nd quarter of that game, 15 min of play, the ball was in motion 3 min 14 sec!!!!! there were commercials every 3-4 minutes lasting 2 minutes each time and containing 4-5 commericals per break. thats a lot of stimulation!

i think this whole thing is a marketing ploy to buy fans worldwide and tease them with the sport that doesnt seem to stand a chance internationally!

I don't think the game will do much. Its a good atmosphere being at a football game. But i really dont think it will be a hit internationally. There are too many ignorant people out there that wont give it a chance just like people here in the us dont give rugby and AFL a chance. Plus i think for it to be appreciated overseas it has to be played. Its an american sport. Invented more or less in America. I also think the teams were a bad choice. They should have picked teams with a great football history. Teams like the Packers or Bears. Teams that just have a rugged persona about them. Dont get me wrong i think both the Phins and Giants have good history but I think we should have sent more ruggedly historical teams there. I think the Packers bears would have been a good one. Sending an icon like Brett Favre over there.

I'm trying to watch it be i'd rather watch our football to be honest!I would love to play the game but not sure of any local teams around here!It would be like rugby but with helmets!I think theres too many stoppages for my liking but it seems like a decent sport.Doubt very much that it will hit off over here but you never no!Another American sport basketball with hit it off over here for sure though!

The Dolphins suck and the Giants are overrated. If London wanted a good game they should have asked for the Patriots Colts game next week.
