I need information about CARDIAC SURGEONS!!!?

I need information on the hard skills required for cardiac surgery, the areas in the country where it is most required, core courses, and a major company that cardiac surgeons work with.

Any information from a good website will do.

    Skills required:

    Eye-hand coordination

    Extreme work ethic

    Ability to deal with a LOT of stress ALL the time

    Intelligence, and the ability to make decisions and act on them

    Cardiac surgeons are needed pretty much everywhere.

    You need to complete medical school AND a general surgery residency, and if you excel as a surgeon, you might be able to secure a cardiothoracic fellowship. Cardiac surgery is a subspecialty of surgery. You have to already BE a surgeon to start training in it.

    Cardiac surgeons are either employed by a large hospital, or have a private practice group. It's not a corporate thing.
