What goes through your mind when you're having a tooth drilled for a filling?

If I didn't have this damn drill in my mouth, I would explain to this guy about how he should use mouthwash.

hmm this may sound weird, but i wasn't bothered at all. i just hated the sound, but i was fine. it was kinda weird and all having that drill in your mouth, but it didnt hurt me. my dentist said i was brave :D

i never had a cavity filled since i was a little one. it was a while ago

God this is fun. I wish I could do it every day.

well . for my last one, it was, "OH MY GOD , WHY DID I AGREE TO LET A STUDENT IN TRAINING DO THIS!? I WANT MY DENTIST. wow, grinded tooth smells bad."

just counting the seconds til it's over (I never use novocaine or gas for any dental work.)

Hmmm...well, anything but "GOD I can't believe this is happening..." How about, "I sure like riding horses" or "Let's go snowboarding!"

it takes alot to make my gums numb and i can usually feel it and i have had a few cavities from smoking and pop and i hate the drill and everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish this was over.
