PS3 question?
I was wondering about the PS3 games. Are they all internet based, in other words do you need the internet to play all of the games or can you play it without? I was wondering because I was thinking of picking one up in the future and just wanted to get the basic info from all the great people here at yahoo answers. I appreciated any help on this question and would like to thank you all in advance.

Yes you can play them without internet, with the exception of WarHawk, that is an online only game.
Though I highly suggest you get some form of internet. Unlike the 360, Internet access (both in games and web surfing) is completely free.

No game required online except warhawk which is a pretty cool game. Anyways all the future game coming out will not required to play online, to be honest I'm not sure why warhawk was created that way but yes future and present game don't required that you have internet but like a previous person mention online gaming is free on the ps3.

The only game which you NEED the internet for is Warhawk, otherwise you can play any other ps3 game without it.

No they are not internet based ... They are made to be played offline but offer online as well. The games are on 50 gig blueray and offer great offline play and challenges.

you can play them offline but only game that you need to play online is warhawk

you can play ps3 games "offline"...the only one that is multiplayer online only is Warhawk.
