I was wondering if anyone has good advice on how to deal with this.

Here's the story: My partner's best friend has depression issues. She has been taken to the hospital few times because she has felt suicidal. Her boyfriend has moved to a different state due to an internship for college. She also cannot drive and because of this, she relies on my partner for pretty much everything. While she is my partner's best friend, my partner is starting to feel frustrated with it. It's starting to affect our relationship in a way where my partner is always worrying about her and making sure she doesn't feel suicidal. He keeps saying that he feels pressured to do everything because he doesn't want her to feel suicidal and make the wrong decision.

How would you approach this situation?

Any input would be appreciated!

I just want an outside perspective on this situation, so here's what happened:

I let my partner borrow my Jeep to drive to the other side of our campus as he was late for a meeting. One of my friend saw my Jeep parked and decided to play a prank by taking the wipers off and leaving them on the hood. My partner comes back to the Jeep and sees that the wipers were taken off. He went ahead and tried to put them back on. As he was attempting to attach the wipers, somehow he slipped and the metal arm that holds the wipers snapped back in place, hitting the windshield and cracked it.

Whose fault is it?

and insurance is out of the question as I just replaced my windshield less than a month ago.

and it uses the ISP's webpage to control the settings. I prefer to use Netgear's actual router page, rather than using my ISP's page. Is it possible to get rid of this?

Earlier this year, I purchased some furniture from Raymour and Flanigan with their 6-month no interest financing promotion. It's not a credit card, just a bill that gets mailed to my house each month. What happens to the account once it's paid off? Does it just close?

so here's the deal:

I opened up an Amazon Store Card account 2 years ago when I was 19. Now I'm regretting it because I find myself not using it anymore. Rather than closing the account, could I ask them to lower my credit limit so it does not take up a large portion of total credit that I have? I don't plan on asking until the remaining balance is paid off.

I prefer not to close it because it's my oldest credit account compared to others. Will asking them to lower my credit limit hurt my credit score in some ways? I know it would affect the credit utilization ratio but I recently applied for a loan and was denied because I had too much credit. I plan on doing the same with my PayPal SmartConnect account if it doesn't affect my score.

I'm looking at a few Wranglers and I noticed that some of them have optional features already installed. Most of these features I do not need/want, is it possible for the dealership to take them off so the price is lower? It is optional after all so why should I be forced to pay for these features...

I'm looking to take out an auto loan from the bank and buy a new car. Do I still have to put down a down payment on the car even if the bank is "paying" for it? or does the down payment only apply for those who finance through the dealership?

I took Myotein protein shake over the summer to build some muscle mass while working out. I just read online that many supplements from the company that makes this product are on NCAA's banned list. I'm planning to try out for my college baseball team in 2 weeks. Should I make the team and they perform a drug test, would it be a possibility that it would trigger a positive result? I haven't drank the protein shake since I ran out a little over a month ago. I would believe that the supplement is out of my system but I just wanted to make sure. Any input would be helpful. on my new Panasonic TC-P50U50? The auto-dimming is extremely annoying when there is a light lit in the room. It doesn't even dim once based on the room lighting, it dims non-stop... I tried looking through the settings and cannot find a setting to disable it. At least my Samsung LED has an option to shut it off and only dims once when I turn the TV on. If there's absolutely nothing to do with this issue, I'm going to wrap this TV up and sending it back to Best Buy.

These two TV's are the same price on Amazon. Right now, I'm leaning towards the Samsung model, only because every TV I've had were Samsung's. I wanted to hear your opinion on which is the better buy.

I was pitching in the cage and got hit in the wrist by a comebacker. I've been icing it for a while and I'm wondering if I should tape it up to keep the swelling down. Should I? Would it be beneficial?

Do they have ushers at every section checking your tickets or is it only for the premium seats? For example, they have ushers to check your tickets on the field level seats at Yankee Stadium but they don't check in the grandstands.

I recently bought a LG 47LV4400 as a Christmas gift for my parents. I opened it up to set it up to have it all ready for Christmas day. I noticed that there weren't any 120hz options in the menu. The box even advertises 120hz Trumotion as a feature for this TV so I am going to assume that 120hz is always on. I went ahead and connected the cable box to the TV and I don't even notice anything.

I have a Samsung UN46D6400 and when I have 120hz on, the picture is much smoother. For the LG, it does not have the smoothness that my Samsung has. Every 120hz TV that I have seen has the smooth effect so why isn't the LG TV have the effect?

Could someone clarify this for me?

Every time I open up Firefox, it only loads cached pages. It does not show the updated content. I know that I am connected online (obviously otherwise I wouldn't be posting this). If I open up IE9 or Chrome, it shows the updated content.

What can I do to stop Firefox from doing this?

Like for instance, when I click on a button with a label of "X", it changes to "O". How would I do that, if possible?
