Is anyone else having problems with the Guitar Hero 3 controller, either on Xbox 360 or PS3?

i don't think i've had a problem with snycing the controller to my xbox 360, but i've been having problems with the red and yellow fret buttons. my brother has the wii version and he's having the same problems with the red and yellow fret buttons.

I've had it for a few days and have been rocking out, but it took me about ten minutes to figure it out. I turned everything off, plugged the usb toggles into the ps3, pushed the sync on the guitar then the sync on the toggle and it found it. It doesn't seem to give a clear way in any instructions how to sync which what the problems everyone with the ps3 encounter here and there. Once that syncs your good but a word to the wise...

Every once and a while it will look llike the guitar wont be playing your notes and you'll be dead in the water. Mash the neck back into the guitar. Sometimes that gets loose from the rocking and the buttons wont connect and you'll be screwed, so be sure to keep it on there tight!
