RE:
What are the names to the different brands of Apples?
Source(s): names brands apples: https://biturl.im/F71rM - ?Lv 45 years ago
Well, given their ages, and I was also the same age at the time, it was a bit more, shall we say, primitive. I was part of the 'community' of hobbyist that at the time followed Apple and were amazed, due to Wozinak's choice of Processer, that this terrible design was ever marketed. But marketing it was. At the time those of us that actually knew the difference in processor types, and the plusses and minuses, that this 'TOY' would ever be sold as a serious computer. Anyway, at the time they were running ads for their crude PC's and the ads featured a Philipina, a woman from the Philippines, and I was told that she was actually a lady friend of one of the principals. Well, to make this long story short, in the Philippines, 'APPLE' is a euphemism for a woman's breast. That's the real source of Apples name.
