This is a one-off game. I suspect the people with the financial clout are testing the waters.
The Wembley match is sold out already.
The idea of American football in Europe was tried a few years ago with a team called the "London Monarchs" it failed. Frankly there is little interest in American football in the UK and even less in the rest of Europe.

i don't think it will take off, because we already have football (soccer) which is the beautiful game and the passion of many and then we have Rugby (which is not as popular as football but still quite well supported). Here you can get American football on TV and its not popular at all.I never ever hear anybody talk about it other than to joke about the outfits. There might be sufficent support from all the Americans living in London for the Wembley game but football (soccer) would always remain the no 1 sport. I have not heard anyone talk about seeing the sport in London and until I saw it mentioned on the news nobody even mentioned it.
