I have a 1GB flashcard, and I have over a thousand pic's on it, and I can't erase them on my camera, any ideas?

I actually have three cards with over a thousand pics on each, and my camera is unable to delete them now. Is there an easy way to do it other than one at a time??

The cards were on my trailcam, and the camera malfunctioned and kept taking pic's until the batteries died.

You can try formatting the cards.

Go to your camera menu and probably under setup you can locate "Format".

Should be able to clear all the images.

Actually I've seen a lot of pros recommend that after you transfer your images to the computer, you format your card. Deleting images on your computer one by one could corrupt the card. Slim chance, but it's possible. So formatting your card would be the safest way of keeping the integrity of your card.

Can you put the flashcard in a card reader, open the folder on your computer, select them all and delete?
