Ebay scam? Why are people bidding for weird stuff on Ebay?
What's with the auctions on Ebay, where a caps lock key from somebody's keyboard sells for $50? Or the secret of invisibility, or an empty soda can... and these guys have no negative feedback!!! What's going on?
It actually seems that both seller and buyer are getting SOMETHING from this. Had it been a scam seller would not have all this positive feedback. There are books sold on Ebay about how to make money selling nothing.
I'm not bidding myself, just mystified about scams, if it is one...

Yes, definitely a scam, that is always discomforting. I think there is a way to change your username without losing all of your feedback, and I would also change your password. I think there is also a section on eBay to report this kind of thing.

lol, i think it's just a joke. I saw someone selling a spade for 50,000 dollars. I think its just them trying to be funny.
