    I think there should be...

    1. Greetings

    2. What the students have been doing lately.

    3. What the students will do in the near future.

    4. Goals that the class wishes to achieve.

Maybe if you need, ask for volunteers for projects. Tell them if there will be any parties coming up, days off, & when projects will be done.

Information on how to get help for special education services. Schools are suppose to give parents this info but they rarely do because they dont' want to help children in special ed.

Most parents don't know how to go about special ed and the schools aren't about to tell them.

If you ask the school to get you this info to put in the newsletter, I bet you a million dollars they will tell you not to do it. And if you do it without their knowledge, when they find out they will be so mad.

Calander of events at the school what the children had learned that past week and what they had fun doing, the what the will be doing next week, colors/words of the week. Then ask parents for any special supplies you will need for the following week for activities. Any birthdays that occered that week

Warm greetings. Your goals. Expectations of students and parents, request involvement. More warm fuzzies. Coming attractions. More warm fuzzies. Some art. Learning is fun, and we are on a great adventure!

All of the above answers a really great. My only additional suggestion would be maybe a parenting tip.

i would say stuff like what the pre-k students have been up to so far in school and how they are doing. also what activities they have been up to and stuff like what activities they are going to be doing. also dont forget to mention if there is a need for someting in the class room e.i. snacks or papertowels.
