It depends on what ignites their jealous.y. If their jealousy comes from a strong sense of self and from ego, it bothers me since I don't want to be defined as a possession that defines them. If it is derived from a strong base like feelings, then it's certainly understandable.
The way in which it is manifested matters as well. If the person limits my freedom in the process, it becomes bothersome. But if they appear to keep it all inside, not knowing or daring to manifest it yet simmering on the inside, then I find it all the more endearing.

it doesn't bother me as long as it isn't a dangerous jealousy, it can be flattering but I have had it both ways. an Innocent type and a violent type. EVERYONE has had some sort of jealousy in there lives if they say they havent they are in denial

In some kind of weird way, it does tend to be a little flattering, and it hasn't bothered me....I try not to let things like that trouble my mind or heart.

Yes I do like it when someone is jealous of me, even if it's in a mean way that can create problems.
But when I do realize that they are acting the way they are just out of pure jealousy, then it makes me laugh. I tell myself, "they're only acting this way because they wish they had it as good as me".

It flatters me, but it can be worrisome at times, like when they start doing things against me. And this has happened before.

yea, it is flattering because i dont put myself in high self esteem, i casually put down myself and compliment that person and even the playing field. i have a "thing" for equality

Flattering at first.... But eventually something is said that really pisses me off just because they don't have what I have.
