Fresh from the butcher is the only way to go. For those of you that have never tried it, you need to. Get 2 steaks, a fresh and frozen. Grill them exactly the same and try each one. You will never buy frozen again!!!

I'm only 17 but my parents always buy fresh from the butcher, a) to help the local businesses and b) because it's just so much better quality! I'm sure going to buy from the butchers when i'm older :D

    Fresh and frozen

Red meat is much better if purchased fresh from a butcher.

Poultry and fish either way is okay.

Usually fresh meat, frozen seafood. I live too far from the coast to get good quality fresh seafood.

Frozen. When I get my degree and the job to go with it then I'll buy nice and fresh.

I usually buy fresh, but when I buy frozen, it means that I want to buy it and save it for the week so it doesn't gets bad.
