My girlfriend is in Thailand and I am in the US, would it be rude for me to send her flowers at her workplace?
She is on a one year program to teach English to Kindergartners in a smaller town that Bangkok. I want to send them to her school but do not want her to look bad in front of her co-workers. Please help! By the way, if you are wondering, you can send flowers to most any country with /flora2000.com/

I don't know what the Thai rules of etiquette are, but it sounds like a lovely gesture to me. :)

Go for it!! Why would it be wrong?? Unless this is specifically banned from her workplace, I haven't seen anyone have a problem at any of the places I've worked at for getting flowers..... on the opposite, we usually make a big fuss out of it (if we get along well with the colleague involved) and tell them that they seem to be very much loved/appreciated for having got such a nice gift. Nothing wrong with that....... good luck.

Not at all. In fact I'd think any woman would be proud to get flowers at work for others to see. They'll be thinking what a great guy she must have.

Yes send the flowers!!!it really shows you care and the fact that it's traveling the distance is symbolic too!!!

Don't worry about that. It will be fine. Most women do get flowers on Valentine's Day anyway.

It would be really nice, and if she doesn't want to keep them in the school, she can take them home.
I think it would be fine.
good luck!
I have been to Thailand, the nicer hotels have flowers all around, I think it is fine, and won't be misconstrued
