Why do humans have kill every cool creature they find?

It completely makes me crazy - just read the story about the 405 year old clam found off iceland. And the caption says "oldest living clam" but yet the picture is of a shell splayed out and obviously dried up, aka, not alive!

Why, why, do we kill every creature we find? Rare fish, Great apes, hippos, nearly extinct rhinos, whatever, if it moves someone out there wants to kill it.

I will never understand why some people think that everything on the earth was put there for humans to kill and use up.

Are there any "normal" people out there who think this is wrong?????????

I agree with you, then we get down to killing each other.

Some humans (and some cultures) will kill and eat everything they find. Every living thing is viewed as existing only to nourish or benefit humans, and is either consumed, or destroyed if it can be sold. Insects, all sea food, dogs, cats, rare or endangered animals, everything is eaten or turned into magical potions or other crap. Far eastern and Asian cultures are such an example.

Awwwwww - I love a woman with a soft heart. I will vote for you to lead the world.

I hate it when they dig out Ice Mummies (especially children) and put them on display instead of giving them a proper Christian burial.

These people are clever and stupid 'scientists'.

I get overwhelmed by the madness of man. We are selfish, arrogant, spolied brats. We will not be satisfied until all living things are dead. Including ourselves. It is shameful.
