Please give me a list of country songs that would be great for a dad?
I want to make a cd for my husband for Christmas and I want it to be country songs that sing about being a father or along those lines. We have three children and one on the way in January. Thanks for any suggestions you may have!

There's a great CD called "Daddies Sing Goodnight" that features Doc Watson, Tim O'Brien, Jerry Douglas, Jonathan Edwards & the Seldom Scene, & others.
Although it is theoretically an album of "lullabies", it has great songs about fatherhood. Sorry, I can't get to my copy right now to give you the label, but you should be able to find it (and probably hear samples) fairly easily.

All of these songs are great. One that sticks out in my mind is called "Daddy Stuff" by Sammy Kershaw. It's on his Christmas cd so it will fit nicely on your cd. Good luck.
