Can having sex while you're on your period cause it to last longer than normal?
Ok thanks for the answers so far but I don't think people are quite getting what I am asking... I am NOT asking if this is a good idea or if I should or what happens when you have sex on your period. I have been on my period for 2 weeks as of today. My boyfriend and I have had sex every day. My period usually lasts only 1 week but the last 2 times it has lasted for 2 weeks and we had had sex everyday. I was just curious if having sex could be the reason that it started lasting longer.

i don't believe there is any evidence to suggest your period will last longer with sex.

No sex will not make your period last longer hope that is the answer you are looking for, if you have been bleeding that long you need to seek medical attention

No. But, there are other things to think about. For instance, if it is your first time, sizes of certain areas, and so forth.

i have sex with my fiancee while on my period and i actually feel that it cuts down on the days.
