Do woman prefer men not to be fashionable? Does it make them feel ugly next to a fashionable bloke?

I take pride in my looks yet someone said to me the other day, "Id never go out with a bloke that dressed better than me, makes me feel bad"

I was quite surprised but the more I thought about it, kinda makes sense?

Is this the general consensus?

I prefer any man I'm with, regardless of any intimate relationship or merely a casual friendship, to seem somewhat appropriate. Not necessarily fashionable, but if that's what he can pull off great! If not, at least know what decade you're in. A polyester leisure suit is NOT appropriate unless attending a 1970's Flashback party.

I like guys to be well dressed in general, but I agree if he were better dressed than me I would feel a little out of place. There should be a happy medium somewhere :)

P.S. razzle, it's a matter of what I like, not what I require, so I'm not being shallow.

Men dont need to be fashionable, classics and style change by good colour sense and good accessories ity is the modus operandi for women to change thier image as not to look stale

nicely, you spoke back area of your question your self, in line with possibility without understanding it, as a results of fact as you're saying this is a call.some adult adult males do, and a few do no longer; like breast augmentations. i think of it is common to love what you like, yet as i think approximately who prefer one 'form' over yet another, maximum adult adult males are a minimum of somewhat captivated with the female type and all this is spectacular curvaceousness. My wager is that when a while has surpassed you will discover that the girl who's linked to those spectacular mammalia, would be greater significant to you than her outer visual charm and you will adore each and every little thing approximately her, alongside with what ever length and shape her breasts take place to be. On a private be conscious: my selection is the organic boob, as a results of fact pretend ones could be too employer and "plastic" and so don't sense as solid as a greater yielding type, i.e.- i like the genuine element in simple terms fantastic! I do think of that girls human beings would desire to be pleased with themselves and not bow to "societal pressures", yet we the two understand the certainty of this is somewhat diverse than in simple terms asserting that, and this is greater complicated of an argument than that. you're surely no longer on my own in spite of the undeniable fact that, if others did no longer like advancements of this form, women human beings does not subject themselves to those approaches. i'm hoping this has helped.

i wouldn't say they feel ugly. but maybe she thinks that the guy is very vain and he hogs the mirror all the time. or maybe he is insecure and needs the labels showing. give me a jeans and t.shirt man any day, with bags of confidence, but scrubs up well, when the need arises

You will find a girl that doesn't think you dress up enough and thinks you need to wear nicer clothes. Don't worry, shes out there.

No....if you would let clothes be a big issue in being with someone then your VERY shallow and need to get a reality check.
