When is a good time to see Fall colors in BC?

I was just wondering, how are the fall colors right now in BC?

I'm planning to visit Vancouver in first half of this November and hope to take some nice photos. What is the best areas to go to?

Ummm 3 weeks ago woulda been perfect if you're planning on visiting Vancouver. The interior might still be dry enough for all the leaves to be on the trees but here on the lower mainland the rains have knocked quite a lot of the leaves off the trees. They still look good but 2nd or 3rd week of Oct. is better for the leaves

You've really gone past the prime time. Once the rains set in (as they have) the colors diminish rapidly. There are still a few spectacular trees around -- mostly in the coastal areas. Interior has more evergreen forests and they don't change colors.
