Anyone else notice Josh Becketts eyes before he throws a pitch?

You know how most pitchers shake their heads back and forth if they don't agree with the catchers signal, and how quite a few of them slightly nod when they agree.........Is it just me but I noticed, when the cameras zoomed in that Beckett faintly shakes his head no but ever, ever so slightly blinks his eyes? I told everyone that watched the games with me that he was winking at me! Ha, even I have to admit that thats kind of wierd and far fetched, but he blinks and I think that that is his signal for yes, What do you think?.....That I'm nuts I'm sure!!!!!!

I have watch the games in High Definition, and you can totally see him doing that!

It is weird, but it works for him!

I never noticed that and I take notice to quirky ball players. Like the above poster said, the catcher wouldn't be able to see his eyes blinking. They're about 60 feet from each other. The catcher and the pitcher communicate through hand signals and nodding.

This is the kind of nonsense you hear when women watch sports. A catcher isn't going to be able to see a slight blink of an eye from 60 feet away.

Well it's very hard to see the signs, especially if the batter is being abnoctious (Lofton) He's concentrating.

I put Josh Beckett in the Barry Bonds, A-Rod area: I think he's a rude selfish (put your offensive name here).

How would you know that, baseball33? Do you speak from experience on that front?
