Have you ever met someone in person who you met online?

Many many times. Too many times to even give a figure. I just thought it was fun to talk with someone on the computer for a long time then on the phone then meet them in person. Nothing bad has ever happened to me.

I've actually gone to Europe 3 times meeting someone from off the internet.

I met a guy on-line through Yahoo Personals, and today is our 4 year anniversary. Just met in a public place the first time, because there are a few strange ones out there.

Nope, and it's probably just as well. You get these expectations in your head as to what these people you talk to on line are like and most always, they are nothing like you imagine and it is a big let down. At least that is what I think and what I've heard from people who have met online friends in person.

No, I never have, and there is no likely hood I ever would, unless it was a lady and she lived in my home town, and

I went to school with her,and the likely hood of that happening are as likely as me winning the lottery. I was pitifully shy and only had one girl friend and one boyfriend all the way through school, I'm very cautious and still pretty much a loner. We never know what God has in store for us though, I am able to teach Sunday School when they need me, and even sing out loud with kids.

Yes. I have met quite a few. One I ended up marrying (and divorcing) and another was a long time (2 1/2 years) boyfriend, who I am still good friends with.

Nope not yet. But I know a few cool people that I've met online that I would someday like to meet!

yes... 2 specifically - one was my ex husband... the other is a very dear friend now in Tennessee...

Technically, my hubby and I met in high school but didn't hang out or anything then... it took the internet to reconnect us...so I guess that would be 3 and the good outweighs the bad in my experience.

Yea, I met 2 guys from a dating site and later after we dated for a while they became my boyfriends, but those were awful relationships.. ;+X

I hafta stay pretty close to grampa right now. I only play games online when he's lookin' out for me.

But when I'm on the sidewalk, grampa holds my hand and he likes when I say "hi" to people.
