Someone told me just to put a little water over the roots of my bamboo plants or it will rot?
Is this true? Anyone have any experience with these plants? They are coil-shaped at the stem because I guess that was the hot thing to do.

If this is what they call Lucky Japanese Bamboo, yes the roots must stay submerged in water at all times. Cange the water about once a month and rinse off the roots. I have several in vases with marbles holding them up and water covering the roots...........########
