Deleting all INBOX emails in my Yahoo email account.?

theres no quick way of doing it, but if you click a box at the bottom(check all or somat like that)then select delete from the drop down list,you will delete the entire page of e-mails.

please be warned this means all of them, if you find an email that you would like to keep, it would be better to create and/or move it into a folder so that you can continue to use the box option.

on the other hand, how the heck did you manage to aqquire 7 thousand e-mails?

DELETE EMAILS

UP TO 200 A PAGE

FOR CLASSIC EMAIL

go to mail page

for one or more emails put a check in the box beside the email(s)

for 1 page at a time put a check in the top box where it says sender

choose delete

to increase the emails to delete on one page go to options at top right of the page

then general preferences

then Messages/results per page

increase the amount

for yahoo 200 is the most you can delete per page

FOR THE ALL NEW MAIL

it is being updated at this time

you have to switch to classic

it is easy to switch back again

use above details when you switch

SWITCH TO CLASSIC MAIL

on top left side of mail page

click MAIL CLASSIC beside sign out and my account

or

on the top right side of mail page

click options

then click switch to yahoo classic

SWITCH BACK TO NEW YAHOO MAIL

or on the mail page on the top right side

click all new mail

or

click options

then click

you can delete 200 messege at one time only as go to option and set prefrence of showing 200 mails at a time.
