Lie Dectectors results can only be admitted into court when both sides agree to do so prior to the test being administered.
This rarley ever happens, but you can ask the prosecution if they will aloww it. They will most likley say no. Remember the decision has to be made prior to the administering of any test . That means if they find out you did a practice run prior to making the offer to take one they can get it thrown out
They are far too inacurate to be trusted with someone's guilt or innocents becuase they can register false positives and they can also be fooled very easily by taking sedatives prior to taking them and a few other ways. The state will not risk it becuase if she beats it then their case is done
Also remember she doesnt have the burden to establish her innocence the state has the burden to establish her guilt and if she is truly innocent any lawyer would have any easy time keeping thme from doing it.

Use of polygraph evidence is prohibited in 28 states, but allowed in 18 states if both sides agree.

Lie detector tests do not stand up in court No, you would be better trying to establish her whereabouts etc at the time and wether anyone saw her that can vouch for this. Any evidence no matter how small it seems to people can often be a huge help.
If she has a lawyer/solicitor then that's what his job is to defend her. Innocent until proven guilty.
You need to find out why she is been wrongly accused firstly. The police will have what they deem reasonable evidence to suggest it. Its not their job to prove she didnt do it thats on your side of the law.
You could ask the police to have a lie detector test done, If she passes it then they may start to look elswhere, so it may help even if it doesnt stand up in court, taking it might prevent it from getting that far.

I can sense your obvious concern for your daughter however lie detector tests can only be admissible in court as evidence if both parties agree in advance.
I suggest your daughter gets a good lawyer and any witnesses etc.
I'm sure if she is innocent the truth will come out.
Good luck .

Get a good lawyer. It's better than the lie detector test. What if your daughter fails the same?

No, lie detector tests are not admissable in Court. YOu will just have to go through the judicial process to establish her innocence.

UK lie detectors are illegal in courts - what evidence do they have against your daughter? they must have some positive evidence before anyone would find her guilty.

How are you so sure she was wrongly accused? Were you with her when it happened or are you just believing her story?

Hi there,
In the UK such evidence is not admissible in court as it is considered unreliable. I suggest she finds a good lawyer who will be able to help her. Good luck.
