Cant get Emulators to work on PSP?

My Grandson wants to find out why he cant get console emulators to work on his PSP.

these are the details of his psp

Firmware: Official 3.71

memory Stick 32MB(Much more than enough to use the emulators)

model:europe original psp

He has found a Game gear emulator that will work, but there is the buttons file missing, so he cant play it. Is there a link to where i can download the files of SMS Plus PSP separately?

Thx

if he has 3.71 official firmware, then no, he cannot get the game gear emulator to work. its not the button files that are missing, its the fact that his psp cannot play homebrew.

he needs to install custom firmware to use any emulators.

Yes actually 32MB MC is enough to run some games with the emulator but I dont know what type of games you want to play like from Game Boy Advanced (GBA) I have pokemon for Game Boy Color (GBC) or other ones. (I have all versions of pokemon)

First of all 32MB is sh*t the worst memory stick u need a new memory stick its wayyy to small.

2nd of all stop updating ure firmware as this stops emulaters and homebrew working.

and finally heres a link to a GBA emulater for psp http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/vbapsp.shtml
