Has anyone read any good books lately?

I just read one called 19 minutes by Jodi Picoult. It is awesome and I think that the teenagers on this site would love it too. It is about bullies in a high school setting that caused another teenager to do the unthinkable. What books have you read?

I'm a huge fan of Jodi Picoult and I recommend ALL of her books. Also, if you like Jodi Picoult, I recommend books by Diane Chamberlain, Luanne Rice and Anita Shreve, all of whom write similar genres and story lines.

The Gift by Richard Paul Evans - it's okay

HRH by Danielle Steel - so far so good

Playing for Pizza by John Grisham - okay, but not my favorite of his books

Yes, I have read some good books lately. 'The Brethren' & 'Skipping Christmas' (John Grisham), 'Jane Eyre' (Charlotte Bronte), 'Death of a Salesman' (Arthur Miller), 'Of Mice & Men' (John Steinbeck).

Some of these are required reading in high school which can be great for discussion purposes, but unfortunately, they need to be read in a timely manner. If you read them on your own time, then the experience is much more enjoyable.
