Brauns' true rookie card will be issued this coming year as he was a rookie this past season. Card companies cannot predict which rookies will burst on the scene, so they wait until the season is over and then issue the rookie card.

Nope, Mark McGwire 49 homeruns by far is the best achievement. He didn't play those games so he's got 18 sorry, but no! McGwire .289 batting average 49 homers 118 rbi's. Their are also better rookie years by others as well. Hanley Ramirez had a great rookie year last year, Ryan Howard, Jason Bay, Albert Pujols, Scott Rolen, Mike Piazza, Eric Karros, Jeff Bagwell, David Justice, Carlos Beltran, Ben Grieve, Nomar Garciaparra, Marty Cordova, Bob Hamelin, and Tim Salmon. Also had great rookie years as well so no I'm sorry just because you're a Milwaukee fan you may want too look at other award winners first before you ask a question because you can't put in those games he missed earlier in the year it's not going to happen and some only played less games then Braun did and still did have an excellent year.

Sorry Stingray, I hate to disagree with you but Bowman has three cards from 2005 listed in Beckett's as his rookie cards. They are ---
2005 Bowman Chrome Draft #168 valued at $150-200
2005 Bowman Heritage #341 valued at $6-15
2005 Bowman Sterling #RB valued at $75-150
The Chrome Draft and the Sterling have "AU" in the card description which signifies that his autograph is "printed" on it.
Hope this helps.
