Well you can't really have an answer for a question like that. you need to add more details. it depends if you like FPS, RPG, 3PS, Tactical shooters, Adventure, Fighting, Sports, Etc. and what consoles you have, anyways, a game i played for a while and i couldn't really let go of was Metroid Prime 3 for the Wii. there's a lot of action but also some puzzle solving if you don't mind that. there's also the typical answer Halo 3, the campaign mode is short but there's always the online play to take up time. Like i said you need more details and you'll get better answers.
