why does the shar pei hate water so much?

i dont know i have two of them one wont even go out side if it is even cloudy

some dogs just don't like getting wet and it is a fear.my husky hates the water i can't even get him in the tub,he sits and puts his front feet planted on the floor and i can't budge him. he weighs 96 lbs and when he is stubborn he seems like more.so he never gets a bath.he is a house dog which is good so he stays clean. my border collie is water nuts,i can't get into the pool with out her jumping in first,so i guess it is just their natures.i taught her as a pup like the husky by bringing them into the pool on hot summer days to cool off and she loves it and climbs up the ladder on her own to get out,where as the husky always paniced. i have never had a shar pei so unless you can manage to hold them and swim with them in water they are just to scared of it and prefer dry land or snow as my big ole husky is a lover of snow and burys his head and body until he comes back in.
