I am looking into getting a smartphone. Which is better- Blackberry's OS or Windows Mobile? What are the pros & cons of each.

I prefer Windows Mobile because it has more power, i.e. it can do many more things. I am a user of Windows mobile (Pocket PC, Samsung i730) and while it isn't as stable or simple to use as BlackBerry, it offers better web browsing, better 3rd application support, more freedom with the software, a touchscreen if you like that, a much more computer like experience, better PDA features...

Go play with a BlackBerry and a WM phone and see which OS you prefer and/or require.

The only problem i have with the Windows Mobil OS is that it crashes of then and loading applications sometimes takes a long time. Also the Media should be a faster process since it uses Windows media but its not.

And the blackberry OS is much faster and user friendly, Tex ting and E-mailing are a breeze, So far i have no problems and that's why I'm planing on getting another blackberry at the end of this year.

And many of the reviews that i have seen with phones that have the WM OS usually get a 70 average http://reviews.cnet.com/4244-5_7-0.html?query=wind...

While the Blackberry Usually gets and 80 average http://reviews.cnet.com/4244-5_7-0.html?query=blac...

As he sead you can always try them out and see what you like the most, but i would go for the blackberry
