the economy is faltering in a huge way.
the world is giving us a cold shoulder at best....
many countries wonder why we were stupid enough to have "w" as a president again...(obviously we were)
fuel prices have gone through the roof....
everything tied to fuel prices is going up dramatically since it has become more likely that a republican will NOT be the president after January 2009.and i think the opec countries and the bushies have a hand in the whole process because they won't be able to hose us when a half intelligent person and one who is not in the arabs pocket takes office.
or if it is a republican,it will be a forced republican.(ron paul)
all above is mere speculation on my part,but i'm over the idiot in the whitehouse at this point.

Evidently yes, the economy is in the crapper, the price of oil is threatening $100 a barrel, America's reputation has been damaged due to the Iraq war fiasco. Things needs to start getting better... maybe with a change of parties in the White House.
