Source(s): what a start. i started working at the age of 13 and a half just say 14, i was gifted and wanted to work because i thought it would be a great thing to do and to get into .... then i got interested in accounting along the way as well.... etc..... but i couldn't tell you what my paychecks were. i just know i knew i could hold on to penny's tighter than my fists. some lessons are well learned..... smile. - Anonymous1 decade ago
I made 2.15 an hour plus tips waitressing at a Waffle House, but that job sucked. I went to Longhorn's shortly after but made only a few cents more.

My first job was a paper route. I also mowed yards and shoveled snow. When I got to be 13 I started babysitting. When I was 15 I got my first job where I wasn't the boss and that was waitressing.
Peace.
