How would I go about putting a lein on a vehicle and a home that I have done work on?
My mom passed away and my brother is trying to get everything. My husband and I have done all the work on the house and the vehicles. Is there anything that we can do? We live in Montana if this helps. Thank you all ahead of time.

You cannot put a lien on property that was owed by a family member.
Your mothers estate (did she have a will?) needs to be divided based on the will if she had one.
If not, you need to contact an attorney to determine property rights and get probate started.
