Myspace images look de-saturated?

Any ideas as to why my images look so desatured when I upload to my myspace after editting them in photoshop. I've also tried to resave them in preview in mac but it doesn't seem to help. Portraits seem lifeless, no flesh color. Hmmm.... Any ideas?

Thanks.

I don't think that uploading should effect the saturation of the photos....BUT..it's possible that when Myspace scales down the quality of your pics it also uses a compression method that ultimately discards a little of the color depth of the photos as well as size.

I wouldn't doubt that this happens.

They hosts millions of photos and can't have them all at their native resolutions and brilliance :)

Do you have any examples? The Myspace uploader should not alter the coloring of images. It's supposed to only resize pictures that are too large in dimension or filesize. It could be your monitor's coloring settings.
