Having travelled all over the world, America is the one place where you don't see as many females operating motorcycles. Why that is, who knows. I think women are just as capable of safely operating a motorcycle as any man is. With todays gas prices, we are liable to see more.

I used to know this girl who could ride the wheels of my old RS 250 about 4 seconds a lap quicker then me!!

She was fantastic on a bike. I have no problem with female rider at all.

If the rider correctly and were all the correct kit, then why should anybody have a problem?

I must be honest, you girls look much better in leathers then we blokes aswell !!

There is nothing wrong at all with a female motorcycle rider. Any person that says differently just remember females have to go places just like the rest of us, some examples are--just to ride, store, work, see friends.

Sad to say, but they mostly follow the stereotype: aggressive pretenders who lack riding skill. I've met many female motorcyclists. Most aren't very laid back; they ride not for the enjoyment but because they want to make some sort of statement. A lot of male riders are like this, too, of course, but a much higher percentage of the ladies just want to say, "that's right, I can ride, what are you looking at?" and don't learn to ride well.

That said, I know a couple of sportbike girls who are stunners, very nice & can ride the wheels off anything.

Folks who ride motorcycles are 'different'.

Makes do difference, as has been said, what your sex is, what your sexual preference, ethnicity, height, weight, religion, whatever.

It's an attitude that unites us.

I thoroughly enjoy riding my Roadstar. I ride all year in all weather. I'll ride in a group or by myself, but I'll ride.

For me to explain just exactly what it is that moves me so much would be hard to do beyond such rather broad terms as 'Freedom'.

So to answer your question, anyone who enjoys my joy is alright with me.

That makes female motorcycle riders my sisters.

That's what I think about lady riders, anyway.

Motorcycles are for everyone, they are indiscriminate, there isn't a set religion, sex, race etc to ride.

Riding motorcycles is refreshing, inspiring, invigorating, they can lift you up, calm you down, give perspective, opens your eyes to a brand new world where every sensor you rely upon is alive and waiting for the next command, and commands your respect!...... My husband and I live to ride He more than 25 years experience, me less than a year riding, but in that time I have learnt more about myself and the environment around me than I have in the 20 odd years driving.

I think women have just as much right to ride a motorcycle as men do.

I know two females who owned their own motorcyles. One is a lesbian/tom-boy/rebel type (she is very complex) and the other is an alcoholic, party animal even though she is approaching middle age.

And come to think of it, I don't personally know any guys who own motorcycles (I guess I live a sheltered life), although I did talk to a guy once who had to give up his motorcycle because he almost got killed on the thing...

So, based on that small sample, it seems women who own motorcycles have personal issues - kind of like old guys who need to own much too powerful cars - but that is another story.

I think it is a "cry for help" in a way, like those people that "attempt" suicide, and get help and attention when they fail...

On the other hand, maybe it is just a cheaper way to get around for her.

nicely, it would not immediately advise a date best to romantic opportunities. even though it would desire to no longer be far from maximum adult adult males minds. To me, it form of feels a thank you to work together with a woman over some shared pastimes. style of a date to be sure if a DATE sounds like a sensible decision. on the different hand, if the guy says it with a leer and maybe a crazed tone of voice, it would desire to advise something else fullyyt!
