Does everything that seems to good to be true; ends that way?

I have received an e-mail from a catholic church in Italy about them raising money to donate to 100 people all over the world. I know Catholic churches actually do this, but in Italy??? No one knows me there. They aren't asking for money and they have an offical form that needs to be filled w/o any real PERSONNAL questions but my name. I'm 75% sure it's a scam, but I just don't know. What do you think???

Buyer Beware: I would not do that.........This Email thing is not to be trusted.........There are other ways of donating if you want to. Computer is wonderful but oh, the scam artists.

There are people in the US that are needy and the cause is legitmate.
