How do you make a PC version of a CD-R compatible with an Apple Computer ?
I'm trying to make two disc (PC Versions) with (1) Video and (2) Still pictures compatible with my sister inlaw's Apple, but it does not seem to work. She can bring up the title, but they will not play and I made direct copies of the original. I tried them before mailing and they worked fine on my PC. Can anybody give some advice on what to do next ?

when writing the cd on your pc... watch the file structure and text encoding..
the file structure should be like iso9660 or somethign liket that..
the text encoding should be like utf-8 or something (DO NOT USE JOLIET!! THATS A MICROSOFT WINDOWS SPECIFIC ENCODING).

that's baffling, because i'm able to open data cd's on my mac that were made on a pc. being in the minority in a windows world, macs have to be designed to work with pc files.
the only thing i can think of, is that you created a file format that isn't compatible with the programs your sister in law has on her mac. if you have the option of creating the cd's in a different format, try doing that. or maybe she just needs to download a media player that will work with the format you created.
just a thought ...
