Does anybody know in a 24 hour time frame how much of it does MTV actually show music videos?

Looking at my local listings and beginning at midnight tonight, they start showing videos at 6am stop at 10am, start again at 3:30 stopping again at 4:30.

If that is an indicator it looks like they only show videos for 5 out of 24 hours.

Not much M in MTV anymore is there?

I used to love it too. I hate that they changed so much. It really sucks for the people who only get a basic cable subscription. It seems they only show videos on the other MTV channels.

MTV doesn't show music videos, the occasional clip may appear, MTV is used for mainly music related programmes, and channels like MTV 2, MTV Flux, MTV Dance etc are used for the music.

well in the mornings = about 3 hrs

late nights = about 2 hrs

trl = about 1hr

so about 6hrs or less b/c u still have commercials and trl talks during the show too nd they dont even show the whole vid so yea

we will let you tell us listening to it that long is a bit to much.
