Go to your Yahoo Answers profile, click on EDIT MY INFO.
Look to the right of where it says PHOTO, then under the "Use My Yahoo Avatar", click EDIT MY YAHOO AVATAR.
Now if your question was "how do i change my avatar to a photo" To the left of "Use My Yahoo Avatar", you'll see "Use My 360 Picture" But to do that, you'll need to set up a 360 page first, unless you already have one set up.

when you first log on it will take you to the home page, when you get there you will see a picture of your avatar, click on the picture, it will take you to the page that you can start updating your avatar.
