It's the same as the correlation between education and religion, the more educated you are the less likely you are to go to church. So the answer is simple, the answers you refer to are the incoherent ravings of those unable to express themselves clearly.

The problem with bad English and spelling etc is now endemic with the population as a whole, not just the ranters and ravers. They have all come through an education system that believed in EXPRESSION and hang the grammar etc. The sooner this system is changed the better. The other part of the problem is that the teachers have also come through the same system and they are as bad as the rest of poor spellers etc.

I don't agree with you, but at least now it sounds like you have a better command of grammar and English language yourself to make your point....

1. It should read "atheist-bashers".

2. "How come" is poor use of the English language (you should say "why").

3. It should say that "spelling and grammar are atrocious".

4. "I mean" should be followed by a comma (but preferably not exist at all).

5. "way off" should be followed by a comma.

Several people who have tried to correct what they perceive to be your poor spelling and grammar, have also made mistakes.

Let me make it clear that I am not a believer either, but we aren't exactly covering ourselves in glory here. You doubtless know the old saying that people who live in glass houses should not throw stones?

But, nowadays, it's not uncommon to see even "normal" people using atrocious grammar (like substituting You Are for and U and an R)

I think what you are discovering is that the more fervently indoctrinated the answer the more erratic the angry typing, therefore the more typographical errors. These people that wish to shout you down with religious fervour are so quick to get their answer published they cannot abide the Godless task of having it marked wrong.

As pointed out by Richard Dawkins in his book 'the god delusion' there is a reverse correlation between strength of belief in god and intelligence. The greater the belief the lesser the intelligence.

I have read some far from accurate spelling from atheists, too. Come on, be fair.
