yahoo - banned for life - from answers?

I'm about to be booted for saying I download games and play them.

This is the 3rd time I've been booted from yahoo for not lying.

If we are not allowed to answer and be honest what is the point???

Update:

I dont see it as being illegal -

I bought a PS1 PS2 Xbox Xbox 360 PS3

And I have purchased several games -

Just to find out I dont have to pay, why would I spend 75.00 for a game when I can get it free.

Hell I've spent over 5000.00 in computer equipment - and plan to use it to the fullest

Update 2:

Yea I bet this question gets deleted too - because of the edit above this one.

LOL - yahoo moderators are idiots.

I'll be back as another drug pushing dead mobster.

Pablo Escobar - - - Cuba

Update 3:

it's good to see that 1 person is paying attention:

Look, what you're doing is illegal. Even though it's a minor offense and not hurting anyone it's still wrong.

Yahoo have to take a stand and not allow any sort of illegal behaviour (no matter how trivial) be bragged about. It sends out the wrong message to members that Yahoo is allowing this kind of stuff be published on their site. It also puts them in a tricky liable situation. Which is the main reason - The gaming company could sue Yahoo answers for allowing your posts to remain thereby claiming that Yahoo is promoting and encouraging the public to download games illegally.

I think they are right to stand firm and boot you. But next time I think you should veer away from any controversial subject like this (coz after three times have you not learned your lesson yet???)

Um -- yeah. there are a good number of alternative places on the information superhighway to create mischief or provide advice. besides, you may consistently play video games or take a wreck from the laptop and decide for a stroll.

It's not just Yahoo! Answers. This happens in all areas of life, you just either live with it or learn to keep your mouth shut about some things. Choose your poison.

Somethings are better to be kept to yourself. Criminal activity is one. Yahoo Answers is a place you can be honest, but you can't share information that is illegal without someone suspecting you. So share your not-so-nice qualities to yourself, and you will benefit from it.

You can be booted for playing games? I didn't know that. I reckon sometimes being honest gets us into trouble, but I appreciate your honesty. Take Care.

    Cheers and *hugs*

Yahoo likes liars!! But yeah it is stupid, there are a ton more on here then just you who download more then just games! Open a new profile and there ya go!

  • I would think you would have learned not to talk about it after the second time you got booted.
